Sixteen local musicians will be throwing down their most mellowed out beats as they compete to win the world’s largest bean-bag and a 50 tape release deal with Checkers Record Collective.

Performers will be judged on a 1-10 scale in the following categories. There are 5 judges on the panel.

Rules

1. Vibes (The overall vibe of the performance)

2. Originality (keeps it real)

3. Composition (the overall structure and progression)

4. Atmospheric Transformation (the ability to transform the audiences mental state and surrounding atmosphere)

First Round is 2-5 minutes per performer
Second Round is 2-5 minutes per performer
Third Round is 5-8 minutes per performer
Final Round is 10-15 minutes per performer

Performers should bring their own sound, it can be a small amp or p.a anything that can play sound. If you absolutely cannot bring anything then email me at ambientbattle@gmail.com to arrange something.
